Warminster u3a Monthly Meeting – The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust

Come and hear about a ‘Day in the Life of a Bobby Operator’ tackling crime prevention, fire safety, home security and online safety. Since 1998, the Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust (WBVT) has worked in partership with Wiltshire Police to provide a home security service to residents throughout Wiltshire. The charity funds the operation of three Bobby Vans that operate as mobile workshops. Bobby Operators are skilled carpenters and locksmiths, as well as being trained in crime reduction and Fire Risk Assessment.
