14 June 2024

The Warminster Business Network in conjunction with Warminster Town Council is ready and raring to deliver their next exciting event by returning with 100 stalls, many food vendors, entertainment and exciting funfair rides.

The High Street and Market Place roads will be closed with multiple independent stalls taking over the town centre, as well as a popular indoor market held in the Civic Centre in Sambourne Road, both running from 10am to 4.30pm. The markets aim to promote local businesses and encourage visitors to all areas of the town.

In the Civic Centre popular favourites, Alfia Handmade, Fudge it & Scarper, Dave’s Doodles and Bake Me Home Cupcakes will return alongside many others.

Multiple food vendors and bars have been booked for the event, with Siam Street Food back by popular demand. Restaurants and cafes across the town will also be open ready to serve with a high attendance expected throughout the day.

Warminster Community Radio (WCR) will be broadcasting live Market radio, as part of a packed programme of entertainment.

The Athenaeum Centre will be hosting craft activities with visitors encouraged to look around Wiltshire’s oldest working theatre auditorium. There will be volunteers to show people around the building and the Box Office will also be open, with teas and coffees available.

A Warminster Business Network spokesperson said:

It is great to be able to bring another event to the town centre, following on from previous successes. Increasing footfall, exposure and dwell time within the town centre is incredibly important for all businesses and helps to create a lovely community atmosphere.”

People are encouraged to walk to the event or take public transport as parking will be limited. Parking will be available at Wiltshire Council car parks around Warminster. The High Street and Market Place roads will be closed from 7am until 7pm. Public toilets will be available at The Civic Centre, Sambourne Road, Warminster BA12 8LB.
