Visitors to the Lake Pleasure Grounds will have the chance to throw wet sponges with a new ‘splat the alien’ board joining in the fun at Spring in the Park on Sunday 3rd May.
The Warminster Community Shed (a community hub where residents can immerse themselves in hands-on projects) has generously created the impressive new activity which is set to prove a welcome edition to the family-friendly event.
Spring in the Park 2026 will be held 10.30am to 4pm, with exciting new entertainment including a mechanical rodeo bull competition joining local traders, charities, activities, tasty food stalls, donkeys, a fun dog show and local entertainment.

The Mayor of Warminster, Cllr Andrew Cooper said: “We can’t wait to host thousands of visitors to Warminster. The event continues to evolve with brilliant new additions to the entertainment schedule as we strive to keep our events interesting for all.
“Spring in the Park will be another huge event for the community, and we can’t wait to celebrate so many local businesses, charities and entertainment as well as making use of the brilliant facilities in the Lake Pleasure Grounds.”
Free facilities will be open during the event, including the large play park and splash pad. Tennis courts, boats and canoes will be available to hire. The Pavilion Parlour will be open selling ice cream, drinks, snacks as well as splash pad accessories.
Warminster Model Boat Club will have a static display of model boats plus action on the water with boats, in aid of the Warminster Carnival Club.
Warminster Community Radio (WCR) will also be in attendance keeping visitors updated throughout the event and encouraging visitors to explore the Lake Pleasure Grounds.
The Warminster Lake Pleasure Grounds is ready to host a series of exciting free events in 2026 including Youth Fest, Ice Cream & Bubbles Festival and Pumpkins in the Park.
