On Sunday evening (19.03.2022) there were some incidences of antisocial behaviour and vandalism in the Lake Pleasure Grounds. These included a portaloo being moved and the skatepark being marked with paint and graffiti.
Warminster Town Council have good quality CCTV footage of the perpetrators which has been passed on to the local police. Staff have manged to clean off most of the paint and restored the portaloo.
Town Clerk Tom Dommett said:
“We generally have very low levels of antisocial behaviour in the park and are determined it will stay that way. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable and we will make every effort to ensure those responsible know that these actions have consequences.”
