The Splash Pad in the Town Park received some improvements to add to the much-loved community asset.
Six rectangular interactive boards have been added to the fence adjacent to the Splash Pad as an additional point of interest and play feature for children. The panels consist of: Noughts and crosses, solar explorers, Giant 4-in-a-row, rock, paper, scissors, Formula racing and a ‘can you find the time?’
All of the panels are fully interactive, provide sensory stimulation and are delivering extra entertainment for the children and visitors to the Splash Pad.
The Town Park is one of the town’s greatest features and is frequently used and well loved by the local community. The Council strives to continue to maintain a strong and progressive standard of upkeep and innovation in order to sustain the quality of our natural spaces.
