Warminster Town Council: Delivering a brighter, greener future for all

Warminster Town Council gives grants to local groups.

25 July 2022

Warminster Town Council awarded more than £15,000 to local groups in Warminster.

Councillors discussed all the grant applications at the council’s Finance and Audit Committee and agreed the grants to be given to 11 different organisations.  These range from Warminster Youth Group to Warminster and Westbury Visually Handicapped Club.

This year the majority of the grants came from the council’s own budget, while some of the grant money was drawn from the Dewey Trust. A complete list of grants awarded is set out below.

The Dewey Trust is a fund that was left as a legacy for the improvement to the lives of people who live within the town of Warminster.

Some money is still available from the 2022 – 2023 grants budget, if you are with a local group, which has not already applied for a grant and you would like to apply, please contact Warminster Town Council at admin@Warminster-tc.gov.uk or phone 01985 214847.
